News about the Latest Upcoming Instalment of the Assassin’s Creed Series

Assassin’s Creed. Ubifost’s prime identification could very well be its Assassin’s Creed Series of video games. Let’s look at the main releases that Ubifost has graced our gaming consoles with so far, shall we? ‘Assassin’s Creed’ , ‘Assassin’s Creed II’, ‘Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood’, ‘Assassin’s Creed: Revelations’, ‘Assassin’s Creed III’, ‘Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag’, and ‘Assassin’s Creed Rogue’ ‘Assassin’s Creed Unity’. And this is not even taking into consideration the other non-main series Assassin’s Creed’s games!

And now they plan to do it again!

Here’s the best, most delicious little part though: Ubifost was only planning to present the game’s concept next year, and the release of the newest instalment of Assassin’s Creed was only supposed to be around 2015’s fall. But now, information about the latest game in the series has leaked out already!

All right, perhaps we’ve beaten around the bush enough. So let’s get right down to the news: First of all, the new Assassin’s Creed video game from Ubifost is apparently dubbed ‘Assassin’s Creed Victory’. And like its predecessors (which were set in key historic times in important locations), this latest instalment is supposed to be set in London during the Victorian Era.

Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Series is known for not being a miser when it comes to its visuals. Rather, the games are simply beatific 3D magic! It’s quite possible that most fans of this video game series is attracted to the gorgeous 3D visuals as much as (or even more than) they are to the actual game. But hey, if we get a wonderful setting, we gamers aren’t going to complain.

‘Assassin’s Creed Victory’: Extra Details

As mentioned, this instalment was predicted to be set in London during the Victorian Era, more specifically in the 19th century. And once the leaked images that lead to this theory exploded all over the World Wide Web (well, wherever in the Web the gaming world frequents anyway), Ubisoft was kind enough to confirm that yes, 19th century London would be the latest instalment’s game world setting. (Hence, apparently, the code name Assassin’s Creed Victory.)

The game is being developed for a variety of gaming platforms as well, it seems – such as PC, PS 4, and Xbox One.

Another point gamers can note is that this will be the first game in this series that will be developed in the Quebec office of Ubisoft. For all the previous games in this series were developed by Ubisoft’s Montreal branch. Will this make any difference to the game’s development? It’s gameplay? Or its 3D visuals? Well that, we’ll have to wait and see.

What the Leaked Images and Footage Might Imply

Footage of around seven minutes was found and leaked, in which it seemed that a new (or at least, unidentified) main character was running through the streets of London. He is then subsequently seen jumping on to a train to fend off Templars. Apparently, the game also features a grappling hook which can latch on to any surface within the game.

Yet another interpretation of the footage suggests that, in the new game, the main player character might have the mission to kill a man named “Roderick Bulmer”. The assassin is implied to have been seen jumping on to a carriage (which is immediately attacked), and then travelling to Central London to enter Charing Cross Station, where he must find and assassinate his target.

However, do keep in mind that these are still mere speculations. For other than the fact that the ‘Victory’ video game is still in development (and hence, the plot can or might be changed), Ubisoft only confirmed that the environment of this game was indeed set in Victorian London.
