‘Tales from the Borderlands’ is an episodic video game that is based on the Borderlands series. It is a graphic point and click game that falls into the “adventure” and “comedy” genres of video games. In these games, designed in episode formats (like in ‘The Walking Dead’ video games), the player’s choices and actions play a key role in the following effects of the game. Super Smash Bros. is also known in Japan as “Dairanto Smash Brothers”, which roughly translates into “Great Melee Smash Brothers”.
In essence, Super Smash Bros. is a multiplayer fighting game. Published by Nintendo, it is also a crossover game, featuring a multitude of characters from other different video games. The main thing that differentiates this fighting game from others of the same genre, is the fact that a player does not have to reduce the “life bars” of the other character to win. ‘Chivalry: Medieval Warfare’ is an action adventure, multiplayer game that is set in an environment and game world resembling medieval times. As the world is modelled after the European Middle Ages, the combat techniques within the game reflect the same style. As such, maces, swords, boiling oil, catapults, crossbows and longbows, among other medieval weapons, are what are primarily used within the game.

Tears to Tiara is a japanese role-playing video game. It is an adventure game with tactics as its core. It was developed by Leaf. ‘Tears to Tiara’ was the original game of the series, and it was followed by a sequel called ‘Tears to Tiara II: Haou no Matsuei’, which is also known as ‘Tears to Tiara II: Descendants of the Hagemon’.
The ‘Tears to Tiara’ video game is one of the few games out there that was the inspiration of an anime adaptation of the same name (instead of the other way around). A manga series adaptation is available for Tears to Tiara as well.Continue reading…
