‘Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six’ is a shooter game that was first released in the year 1998. It was the very first installment released of the series. It is a tactical role playing game with a heavy dose of action and adventure as the main part of its gameplay. In 1999, an expansion pack of the same video game, named Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Eagle Watch, was released. It started off as a video game that was only available for the PC platform. But now there are versions of the game that is available on various video game platforms, including (but not limited to) the PlayStation video game platform as well. “Gone Home” is an adventure video game that is designed in the style of an interactive and investigative story game. It is a first person, role playing video game, and in Gone Home, the player takes on the Role of Kaitlin, who has just returned home after a year’s trip abroad. This video game received critical acclaim for its story line and interactive gameplay – but particularly for its engaging and intricate story line. The video game’s world is set approximately in the year 1995, and the main premise of the game is to explore the family mansion that Kaitlin has just arrived at. The player, as Kaitlin, will have to examine and interact with various household items around the manor and uncover the story and many implied family secrets about the members of Kaitlin’s family.

‘Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear’ is the second installment of the Tom Clancy Rainbow Six video game series and is a sequel to the original Rainbow Six video game. The ‘Rogue Spear’ installment, like its predecessor, is a first person shooter game.
The main premise of the Rainbow Six series of video games is to have RAINBOW’s multinational CTU (Counter Terrorism Unit) fight against various international terrorist groups and organizations. In most cases, the terrorist group either has a weapon of mass destruction with plans to use it against the world (which the CTU must thwart), or has taken hostages, or both. As a tactical game, planning and stealth and prioritized in the gameplay’s design.

As a gamer, we’ve all at one time or another (or probably many, many times for that matter) been given the somber speech of how video games affect our health, can be notoriously addictive, have been proven in studies to be very bad for our concentration skills, and can promote violence among its players.
What people don’t seem to consider however, are the positive effects of playing video games. In fact, playing video games have been shown to also improve a variety of skills in gamers that are potently useful even in fields other than gaming. Batman: Arkham Knight is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated video game of 2015. (It is scheduled to be released in June 2015.) The series of video games so far has been a thrilling experience and fans everywhere can’t wait for more. This particular chapter of the video game trilogy is made even more enticing by the fact that it is the third in the series (a predicted trilogy so far), and hence, might be the final chapter in the series as well! Of course fans will be sad to see this series of video games end. But the anticipation and excitement that comes to any gaming fan at the wrapping up installment of a wonderful series is hard to snuff out. The counter terrorism, role playing game that is Tom Clancy’s Rainbow six: Siege seems to be action-packed and addicting enough for any gamer’s standards, judging from the game’s preview in the E3 conference in 2014. There’s plenty of fun mayhem to inflict, along with a boatload of strategy, tactics and weapons that the player can employ within the game. (For what gamer doesn’t like the excuse to break stuff?
